Mateus Rosa, a cinematographer, photographer, and multi-artist from Brazil, graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual in 2015 from Anhembi Morumbi University in São Paulo. Since 2016, he has been residing in Chapada dos Veadeiros, Goiás, where he focuses his work as a cinematographer on feature-length documentaries, short documentaries, and fictional films, as well as on music videos, dance videos, and video art. He has conducted extensive research in experimental cinema using Super 8 film, exploring visual, auditory, and performative layers. His films have been showcased in national and international festivals and exhibitions, earning a total of 9 awards worldwide. He also has a consistent body of portrait photography work, integrating nature and humanity to create a unique aesthetic that harmonizes with the local biome.
